What does a menopause test check?
Our menopause test checks important areas of your health after you’ve reached menopause, such as your bone and heart health. It also checks the hormones that can affect your mental health, including your sleep, mood and energy levels. Our at-home menopause test makes it easy to keep track of your health once you’ve reached menopause.
Who is a menopause test for?
This test is for women who have reached menopause (not had a period for at least 12 months) or are post-menopause and want to keep track of their health.
Is there a test for perimenopause?
Yes – our Female Hormone Mapping test is a completely new and innovative test for women who think they may be in perimenopause. It’s designed to map your key female hormones across your entire menstrual cycle, giving greater insights than current, single day hormone tests. This test is suitable for women who are not on any form of HRT or hormonal contraception.
When should you do the menopause blood test?
If you’ve stopped having periods, you can take our menopause test any day that suits you, but within 3 hours of waking up. However, if you’re still having periods, you should collect your blood sample on day 3 of your menstrual cycle.
Do I need a baseline blood test?
If you’re curious about your health or want answers to why you feel a certain way, a baseline blood test is for you. Our doctors will be able to give you advice on how to improve your overall health once you’ve done the test such as changing your diet or taking supplements for deficiencies.
